Terms of use

These cover using this website, and the guarantee set out below. Nothing is bought here: the price is on the pricing page, and going ahead is agreed with you by phone.

Who runs this site

RepairRing.co.uk is operated by OrderRing Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17401172, registered office 20 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU. Where these terms say “we” or “us”, that is who is meant. You can reach a person at hello@repairring.co.uk.

Asking us to ring you

Registering your garage puts your details on a list so we can contact you about RepairRing. It costs nothing, it is not a purchase, and it does not oblige either of us to anything: you are free to say no when there is something to say no to, and a place on the list is not a guarantee that a place on the service will be offered to you.

Please give details that are yours to give — your own garage, your own contact details. What we do with them is set out in the privacy notice, and you can have them removed at any time by asking.

The thirty-day guarantee

If you go ahead, we invoice the setup fee on the day your line goes live and you have heard it answer your own phone, and not before. If the service has not earned its place within thirty days of that day, you can stop, and we refund the setup fee in full. One email to hello@repairring.co.uk is enough. There is no form, and you do not have to give a reason.

The guarantee covers the setup fee and nothing else. The monthly or yearly fee for the time the service ran is not refunded, and none of this affects your statutory rights.

The recorded calls, and the demonstration line

The recordings on this site are written scenarios performed in the assistant’s voice, not recordings of real customers. They show how it behaves, not a transcript of anybody’s actual call.

The demonstration telephone number is answered by the assistant itself, acting as a fictional garage. Nothing said to it is a real booking, no real appointment is made, and it should not be used for anything you need to actually happen. Calls to it are charged at your provider’s normal rate.

What this site does and does not promise

The pages here describe what RepairRing does, and we have written them to be accurate — including being explicit about what it will not do, such as diagnosing a fault, quoting a price it has not been given, or stating a vehicle detail a caller did not supply. They are a description rather than a contractual specification, and the guarantee above is the one promise made here.

We cannot promise the site is always available or always free of errors, and we may change or remove pages. Nothing here is professional, legal or technical advice about your business. Where the law allows us to limit our liability for using a free informational website, we do; nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. None of this affects your statutory rights.

Things you should not do here

Please do not attempt to break into the site, disrupt it, scrape it at a volume that affects it, or submit other people’s personal details. Automated submissions to the registration form are blocked and discarded.

Our words, names and logos

The text, design, logos, name and audio on this site belong to us or are used with permission, and are not yours to reuse commercially without asking. Quoting a sentence with a link back is fine and welcome.

Where we name another company — a garage management system, an answering service, a research source — that name belongs to them, and mentioning it does not imply any relationship in either direction.

Links to other sites

Some pages link out, for instance to a research source. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what is on them.

Changes, and which law applies

These terms may change; the date above says when they last did, and using the site afterwards means the current version applies. They are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer elsewhere in the UK, you keep the right to bring proceedings in your own local courts.

If there is a problem

Email hello@repairring.co.uk. It reaches a person who can do something about it, and that is by far the quickest route to sorting anything out.
