Recorded calls

This is what your customer actually hears.

Three calls a garage gets every week, end to end, with the transcript running alongside. Nothing is cut.

Scripted call example

A booking taken while the workshop is under a car

The registration is read back as vehicle details before anything is booked, so the wrong car never reaches the diary.

DEMO: Every line is spoken by an AI voice reading a script. RepairRing Motors is not a real garage, and the vehicles, prices and appointment times are invented. It is not a recording of a real customer, and not a promise about what yours would sound like.

  1. RepairRing

Good morning, you're through to RepairRing Motors. Just so you know, I'm an automated assistant and this call is recorded. How can I help?

  2. Caller

Morning — I need to get an MOT booked in, my current one runs out next week.

  3. RepairRing

No problem at all. Can I take the registration number of the vehicle?

  4. Caller

    Yes, it's NR21 XKC.

  5. RepairRing

Thank you. That comes up as a blue Ford Focus, one point five diesel, first registered in 2021. Is that the right vehicle?

  6. Caller

    That's the one, yes.

  7. RepairRing

Lovely. An MOT with us is 45 pounds. I've got Tuesday the ninth at half past ten, or Wednesday the tenth at nine. Which suits you better?

  8. Caller

Tuesday morning is better for me.

  9. RepairRing

That's booked. Tuesday the ninth at half past ten, MOT on the blue Ford Focus, 45 pounds. You'll get a text confirmation in the next minute. Anything else I can do?

  10. Caller

No, that's brilliant. Thanks very much.

While you listen

Three things worth noticing.

  1. It reads the registration back, slowly, and waits

Character by character, until the caller agrees it. It is the dullest part of every call and the one that decides whether the booking is for the right car.

  2. It refuses the warning-light question

Asked what a light means, it does not have a guess. It books the diagnostic and says that is what it is doing — so your customer arrives expecting the appointment they actually have.

  3. Nothing is booked until somebody says yes

Slots are offered, not assigned. The confirmation comes after the caller has picked one, which is why there is nothing to unpick the next morning.

Straight answers

About these recordings.

Are these real calls from real customers?+

No. They are written scenarios, spoken in the voice the assistant uses, so nobody’s actual call is being played to strangers. The behaviour in them is the behaviour: the registration read back, the refusal to guess, the slot confirmed only on a yes.

Why does it not just tell the caller what the warning light means?+

Because a light is a reason to look, not a diagnosis. Guessing would make the call sound better and the appointment worse — your customer would arrive expecting one thing and be told another.

Can I hear it handle my kind of work?+

Ring it and give it your kind of work. A recording is a script; a live call is not, which is why the number matters more than the audio on this page.
